The ultimate setup for your car might include a netbook, customized into your dashboard somehow and of course, don’t forget to get one of these waterproof USB GPS receivers so you know exactly where you are.

The BU-353 GPS Receiver can be utilized in a variety of applications that require a magnetic mounting with waterproof configuration. With non-slip on the bottom and the compact design, the BU-353 is completely self-contained and waterproof.
It”s incorporating the latest SiRF Star III GPS chipset and an active patch antenna so you receive a high degree of GPS accuracy.
Combining both design and technology into an iF product design award 2006 winning GPS receiver the Globalsat BU-353 integrates the latest SiRFStarIII chipset into a stylish GPS mouse. This results in one of the most sensitive and accurate GPS receivers on the market today.
Typical application can include marine environments, aviation, commercial use such as fire truck, police cars and utility vehicles and buses.

That has all been changed using this new GPS and couldn’t be happier with it’s ease of installation and awesome performance.

Wireless HD video is seen as a killer application for WUSB. When Atlona announces its new AT-HDAiR HDTV Wireless Adapter will have HDMI with digital audio, we know we may have a winner. Previously reviewed IOGear Wireless USB AV kit is equally capable of outputting 720p video, yet only through VGA and analog audio. The most ironic aspect of the IOGear is the number of cables involved in making video to stream wirelessly. It even has a discrete audio receiver. In contrast, the Atlona removes several cables, because the video base station is built in with audio components.
The Atlona AT-HDAiR video base station also comes with VGA interface so you could both the analog and digital interface to output identical content on two different displays simultaneously. Audio for the VGA is is handled by a 1/4″ mini stereo jack. Ideally, video playback at 720p is possible in extended mode. We believe in mirror mode the host PC would be bogged down with the decoding and the process of replicating and compressing the HD moving images for the wireless projection. Keep in mind this is a Windows-exclusive solution. Let’s wait and have a see.

Do you a fan of Hello Kitty?Have you had some Hello Kitty High-tech products?

The only thing weirder than a SolidAlliance flash drive to me is Hello Kitty. Perhaps I don’t have enough estrogen in my system to get the little pink clad kitty, yet she seems to pop up on all sorts of USB gear. The most recent Hello Kitty thingy is this USB powered (and pointless) device that plugs into your USB port and her little wand glows and her wings flap in time to your typing. There are even some sound effects that the device makes and while the sound effects aren’t described one can assume it to be meowing. Since the device requires software there are system requirements and only really girly geeks that run Win XP, ME, 2000 or 98 SE, have 32MB of RAM and 40MB of HDD space can enjoy the feline waste of desk space.

Do you love the cute guy?Just bring one!
